Freelance service providers are inexpensive! |
- Since you are not hiring someone to come into your place of business, you do not need to provide a place to sit, equipment to work on, nor do you even need a building for them to travel to and work in.
- Also since you are not hiring them directly, you do not need to contribute to taxes, benefits, unemployment benefits, etc. While this may be a foreign concept to anyone not involved in HR, or a major corporation, it is a significant savings when factored across the cost to hire a full time employee.
- Lastly, since you are dealing with a worldwide market of freelance service providers, you can benefit from exchange rates. Since the majority of service providers live in countries outside the United States, they provide services are a rate much lower than United State standards. While it may seem exploitive, realize that in some countries, a day's salary is less than the cost of a lunchtime value meal at a fast food restaurant. With that in perspective, they make a decent salary freelancing.
